Job summary

An established investment bank in Dubai is seeking a Vice President to join its M&A and ECM team. The role suits an investment banking professional with strong execution across M&A and ECM and with Middle East exposure highly advantageous.

You will support senior bankers on origination and execution, manage junior team members, and drive deal processes forward while developing client relationships and maintaining awareness of market sentiment across the Middle East and broader EMEA.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of investment banking experience.
• Demonstrable transaction experience across both M&A and ECM.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes valuation and financial modelling.
• Proven ability to manage transaction workstreams independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Middle East transaction experience strongly preferred, broader EMEA experience advantageous.
• Sector-agnostic experience welcomed; role covers broad range of industries.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A advisory and ECM transactions from origination through to completion.
• Support senior bankers in developing and executing strategic and corporate finance mandates.
• Prepare detailed financial models, valuation analyses, materials and pitch books.
• Lead day-to-day execution of transactions coordinating with clients, advisors, legal counsel and stakeholders.
• Develop high-quality presentations including M&A, ECM and strategic advisory materials.
• Conduct detailed company, industry and market analyses to support transaction activity.
• Take ownership of workstreams and ensure transactions progress on deadlines.
• Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates providing guidance on analysis and execution.
