Job summary

Zapegg Tax Consultant in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive to support its financial and accounting operations, including recording daily transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with budgeting and cash-flow monitoring.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to handle confidential information, with emphasis on UAE VAT documentation and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Experience in finance or accounting roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient with accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and tax documentation advantageous.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
• Record daily income, expenses, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Monitor customer balances and follow up on receivables.
• Review supplier statements and assist with payment processing.
• Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow monitoring.
• Support UAE VAT and tax compliance.
