Job summary

Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility is seeking a skilled BYD General Repair Technician to join its BYD Aftersales Retail Team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing BYD vehicles while following manufacturer procedures and workshop standards.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Technician, with hands-on repair experience and a technical qualification.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or General Repair Technician.
• Practical experience in vehicle maintenance and servicing.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing automotive faults.
• Experience with BYD EVs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and general servicing of BYD vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and technical faults affecting BYD vehicles.
• Carry out general automotive repair work on BYD vehicles.
• Follow BYD manufacturer guidelines and electric vehicle safety standards.
