Job summary

Amea Power Group is seeking a Labour & Social Compliance Specialist in Dubai to drive the development and implementation of the company’s social performance framework. The role ensures alignment with international standards, local laws, and lender requirements across projects from development to operations.

You will monitor labour practices, conduct supplier audits, and provide governance and reporting support.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in social performance, labour compliance, human rights, or ESG roles.
Experience with IFC Performance Standards and internationally financed projects.
Track record in labour audits, social assessments, contractor compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields.
Certifications in social auditing or Human Rights Due Diligence are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead development and continuous improvement of labour and social compliance frameworks.
Monitor site-level labour conditions, worker welfare, working hours, and wages.
Develop and enforce labour and social requirements in contracts and procurement.
Conduct audits, inspections, and gap assessments of contractors.
Oversee grievance mechanisms and incident investigations.
Develop and maintain social performance dashboards and reporting.
