Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Construction Manager in Dubai to lead civils and cut & cover tunnel projects. You will oversee civil works from inception to completion, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

With a minimum of 15 years in rail construction management, you will manage permits, schedules, risk, and client relations to deliver complex infrastructure on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in construction management roles, rail design/consultancy.
• Experience in risk management, contract administration, and procurement.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to airport construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities from inception to completion.
• Ensure progress aligns with the contractor’s schedule and manage resources.
• Monitor labor, equipment, and safety compliance on site.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning per PM process.
• Ensure contractors obtain all necessary permits to work.
• Identify risks and propose cost-saving and schedule improvements.
• Generate progress and status reports for management and client.
• Oversee contracts and manage related risks and claims.
