Job summary

Parsons is seeking a BIM CAD Technician to support infrastructure engineering projects in Dubai, UAE. The role involves preparing technical drawings and BIM models related to dry utilities, including MV and LV power distribution networks.

Ideal candidates should have at least five years of CAD drafting experience and a relevant diploma or degree, along with strong knowledge of infrastructure drawing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of CAD drafting experience in infrastructure and dry utilities projects within the UAE or Middle East region.
• Familiarity with local electricity authority standards including DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, and Dubai Municipality requirements.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure design documentation and engineering drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and BIM models for infrastructure dry utilities including MV and LV power distribution networks.
• Work closely with BIM managers, CAD managers, design leads, and engineers to deliver project drawings according to required standards.
• Ensure timely completion of drafting tasks in accordance with project delivery schedules.

Education
