Job summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled BIM CAD Technician for Electrical Utilities in Dubai. The role focuses on digital design and drafting for MV/LV distribution, lighting, telecom, and security systems within major infrastructure projects.

You will develop coordinated models and drawings, support multidisciplinary teams, and ensure authority-compliant delivery. You will translate engineering inputs into accurate BIM content using Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 5+ years CAD drafting in infrastructure.
Experience with MV/LV power distribution, lighting, telecoms, security networks.
Strong proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation.
Familiarity with BIM workflows, multidisciplinary model coordination, and digital information management.

Responsibilities

Prepare BIM models and CAD drawings for MV/LV networks.
Develop layouts for external lighting, telecoms, and security systems.
Support dry utility design for pump stations, bridges, tunnels, and roads.
Coordinate with BIM/CAD managers, engineers, and design leads to deliver packages.
Convert sketches and calculations into accurate drawings and models.
Produce GA drawings, layouts, flow sheets, isometrics, and details.
Follow project QA/QC, file naming, and revision controls.
