Job summary

PetLab Co. is seeking a Video Editor and Producer to lead AI-powered performance ads in Dubai, delivering high volumes of compelling video assets for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll craft scripts, hooks, captions, and AI-generated elements to drive conversions and scale customer acquisition for a 9-figure DTC brand.

You’ll collaborate with Creative Strategists, Paid Media, Video Producers, and Influencers, shaping creative strategy while owning end-to-end execution and rapid testing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of video editing experience, including at least 2 years paid social ads for DTC or eCommerce brands.
• Portfolio must include AI-powered ads with tools used and your role.
• Hundreds to thousands of paid social ads with measurable results (ROAS/CPA).
• Strong written and spoken English; able to present ideas to a global team.
• Daily use of AI video tools (Veo, Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Arcads).
• Expert skills in Premiere Pro and CapCut; After Effects/DaVinci Resolve a plus.
• Know what makes an ad convert: hooks, pacing, retention, CTAs; write direct-response scripts.
• Familiar with performance metrics (Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS).
• Ability to deliver high-volume ads weekly without quality drop.
• Experience in fast-moving, feedback-heavy teams at high-growth brands or agencies.
• Bonus: love animals; pet/health brand experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Editing short-form videos for Meta, TikTok and YouTube from briefs.
• Write hooks and CTAs; ensure pacing and visual changes every 2-3 seconds.
• Add captions, text overlays, sound design, and platform-specific assets.
• Edit diverse footage: UGC, creator, influencer, studio, stock.
• Export in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9; organize assets for media buyers.
• Test AI tools to gain edge; iterate based on performance data.
• Creative strategy: scripting, angles, briefs, storyboards, shot lists.
• Produce AI-generated video, avatars, product B-roll; voiceovers with ElevenLabs.
• Iterate with testing: multi-variant ads; optimize for scale and ROAS.
