Job summary

The Confused Baker in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a full-time on-site Baker to join our team. You will prepare a variety of breads, cookies, pastries, and other bakery items daily, following established recipes and quality standards.

Responsibilities include measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping, baking, monitoring ovens, and maintaining food safety and hygiene. You will organize the workstation, manage production schedules, assist with inventory, and contribute to new product

Qualifications

• Practical experience in bakery operations including a range of products.
• Proficiency in food preparation with attention to measurement accuracy and quality control.
• Experience producing and finishing cookies to consistent taste, texture, and appearance.
• Bread preparation and baking techniques including dough handling and proofing.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Strong time management to handle multiple batches and daily targets.
• Ability to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in a commercial bakery or pastry kitchen; formal culinary training is a plus.
