Job summary

DEAL Holdings in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Baker to support daily production, baking, and finishing of a multi-brand bakery portfolio. You will follow approved recipes, schedules, and quality standards while maintaining hygiene and mise en place in a structured production environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years bakery experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés or production kitchens, with knowledge of bread, dough, proofing, and commercial equipment. GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of bakery experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, or production kitchens.
• Basic to good knowledge of bread, dough, proofing, baking, and bakery preparation.
• Experience with commercial bakery equipment preferred.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and production sheets accurately.
• Ability to work in a team and under time pressure.
• GCC experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily Bakery Production: Produce breads, buns, rolls, doughs, laminated items, pastries and more.
• Prepare bakery items according to approved recipes and production plans.
• Mix, knead, shape, proof, bake, cool, and finish bakery products as required.
• Follow correct timings, temperatures, proofing methods, and baking procedures.
• Ensure products meet required quality and consistency.
• Support production for service, retail display, delivery or dispatch.
• Follow approved recipes, specifications, batch sheets, and portion controls.
