Job summary

KPMG Middle East Careers is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and deliver ethics and compliance solutions for clients in the UAE. You will own workstreams, supervise junior staff, and drive regulatory-aligned investigations and risk assessments.

The role sits within a front-line compliance transformation practice, with opportunities to contribute to proposals, client pitches, and ongoing risk management initiatives in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Forensic, Ethics & Compliance, or Risk Management within a consulting, advisory, or regulated environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading workstreams or engagements and mentoring junior staff.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, investigation methods, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of ethics and compliance frameworks, investigations, risk assessments, and due diligence engagements to meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
• Own day-to-day engagement management—planning, budgeting, quality, and timelines—while supervising Senior Consultants and junior staff.
• Maintain current regulatory knowledge and act as a reference point for the team on compliance matters.
• Identify opportunities for Ethics & Compliance services, contribute to proposals, and participate in client pitches.
• Report progress and manage client relationships at working level to leadership.
