Job summary

Ali & Sons Oil & Gas in the UAE is seeking a Sales Engineer with a mechanical or petroleum background to support drilling products and manage vendor relationships. The role combines office work with field visits to rigs and client sites.

You will prepare technical and commercial proposals, coordinate equipment deliveries, and maintain strong communication with customers to capture feedback and new business opportunities. Fluent English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in sales engineering, technical support, or drilling products within the oil & gas industry.
• Good understanding of drilling equipment, products, and field operations.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, review quotations, and select vendors.
• Coordinate timely delivery of drilling equipment and materials to clients.
• Assist in managing relationships with international principals and suppliers.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients.
• Support payments and collections with suppliers and clients.
• Maintain regular communication with customers for feedback and future opportunities.
• Attend customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Provide after-sales technical support with suppliers.
• Prepare sales and activity reports for management.
• Conduct field visits to rigs, yards, and client locations to support applications.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, and procedures.
