Job summary

Simone's Tutoring in Dubai seeks a qualified Drama Therapist to deliver creative, therapeutic drama-based interventions for children, adolescents, and families. You will use role play, storytelling, movement, and creative expression to support emotional wellbeing, communication, and personal development.

The role is freelance/contract with flexible scheduling; you will deliver sessions online or at homes, schools, clinics, or other approved settings and earn a 75% commission on all paid

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Drama Therapy or Dramatherapy and be licensed/eligible for UAE licensing.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification drama therapy experience in clinical or educational settings.
• Experience with neurodiverse populations and movement-based therapies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop drama therapy treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group drama therapy sessions.
• Use role play, embodiment, and narrative techniques therapeutically.
• Work with children with ASD, social communication difficulties, trauma, or anxiety.

UAE Licensing Requirements

This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

• Own UAE Employment Visa
• Green Visa
• Freelance Permit
• Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility
• Any other valid UAE work authorisation
