Job summary

Abu Alnaga Contracting in Dubai seeks an experienced Document Controller to support building construction projects. You will manage project documents, ensure proper filing, and coordinate with engineers, consultants, and teams using Aconex, Procore, or SharePoint.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in document control within construction, with strong MS Office skills and a proactive approach to maintain confidentiality and timely document flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Document Controller in construction.
• Experience with construction project documentation.
• Familiarity with Aconex, Procore or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Strong MS Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control all project documents including drawings and submittals.
• Receive, register, distribute, and track documents.
• Ensure proper numbering, dating, filing, and revision control.
• Maintain document registers and latest revisions accessible to teams.
• Monitor revisions and prevent use of superseded documents.
• Manage submissions and approvals of drawings, RFIs, and technical documents.
• Prepare transmittals and records of submissions.
• Upload/manage documents in DMS like Aconex, Procore, SharePoint.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Archive and hand over project docs; assist PM with reports.
