DLP & Defect Management Engineer (Post-Handover)

Job summary

TASC Outsourcing is seeking a DLP Engineer to manage defect life cycle for residential and communal assets in Sharjah. You will lead inspection programs, coordinate with main contractors and consultants, and drive timely defect closure with robust documentation and reporting.

The role requires 4–5 years in DLP or facilities management, strong QA/QC knowledge, and ability to engage multiple stakeholders for effective defect resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years' experience in DLP, facilities management, construction, or post-handover activities.
• Hands-on experience with defect management and contractor coordination.
• Good communication with customers and multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor DLP cases for residential units, common areas, and assets.
• Review, categorize, assign, track, and close defects in CAFM/CRM.
• Conduct site inspections, snagging and defect verification.
• Prepare inspection reports with photos and observations.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for defect rectification.
• Prepare weekly/monthly DLP reports on backlog and performance.
• Review handover documentation including O&M manuals and drawings.
• Coordinate with PM, QA/QC, FM, and other teams.
