Job summary

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) in Dubai seeks a Transport Supervisor to arrange and supervise dispatches, deputize the Transport Senior Supervisor, and optimize fleet utilization. You will plan daily resources, coordinate truck routing, and ensure timely deliveries in line with the company plan.

The role requires a graduate or equivalent experience with at least 3 years in fleet supervision, strong QA knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years supervisory experience in fleet management.
• Graduate in any relevant discipline or high school graduate with equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge in Quality Assurance elements and implementation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily resources and delivery operations to maximize productivity.
• Route and schedule outgoing trucks to optimize staff utilization.
• Coordinate routing to meet delivery lead times and maximize fleet use.
• Communicate with TM CBD team and customer receiving staff to resolve delivery issues.
• Ensure stock accuracy and reconcile weekly counts to maintain inventory records.
• Verify and document delivery receipts and ensure payment terms are met.
• Ensure proper loading/offloading patterns to protect goods and prevent returns.
• Inspect trailers and trucks for QA compliance and arrange staff training.
