Job summary

ProDome Management Consulting L.L.C. in Abu Dhabi is seeking an accomplished Director of Strategy, Transformation, Performance & Governance to lead the government's strategy agenda in the real estate sector.

You will shape strategy, cascade initiatives, govern the portfolio, track performance and drive operational excellence across programs, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise strategy, transformation, governance or management consulting.
• Experience translating strategy into initiatives and measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead portfolio governance, performance management and change initiatives.
• GCC or government/semigovernment exposure is a plus; real estate sector preference.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise strategy formulation, refresh and cascading into objectives and initiatives.

Job description

We are hiring a Director, Strategy, Transformation, Performance & Governance to work on a project with an Abu Dhabi government entity in the real estate sector. You'll lead the entity's strategy, transformation and strategy-performance agenda: shaping and cascading strategy, governing the portfolio of strategic initiatives, tracking strategy performance and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation, refresh and cascading of enterprise strategy, translating government and leadership priorities into clear objectives, plans and initiatives
• Advise senior leadership on strategic priorities, complex decisions and urgent requests
• Lead strategic studies, benchmarking, and policy or regulatory assessments
• Translate strategy into a focused portfolio of initiatives and roadmaps (including digital), and establish portfolio governance: decision rights, stage-gates, reporting and benefits tracking
• Steer strategic and cross-sector initiatives, resolving key dependencies, risks and escalations
• Support operating-model and organisational change where strategic priorities require it
• Direct strategy KPI reporting and accountability reviews, consolidating delivery status into one view of strategy performance
• Set the approach for process governance and operational-excellence assessments, ensuring performance gaps become clear corrective actions
• Lead and develop the department, and build alignment with internal and government stakeholders

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise strategy, transformation, PMO, governance, performance management, public-sector advisory or management consulting
• Proven experience leading strategy formulation and cascading, and advising C-suite, Director General or equivalent leadership
• Strong record of translating strategy into governed initiatives, implementation roadmaps and measurable outcomes
• Experience leading portfolio governance, performance management, process improvement or operational-excellence programmes
• Experience in government or semi-government, real estate or another regulated sector is strongly preferred; GCC experience is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, public policy, management or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred
• Fluency in English required; Arabic strongly preferred
