You will shape strategy, drive transformation, set up a robust performance measurement system, and oversee delivery of strategic initiatives. The role requires 15+ years in strategy, transformation or PMO, with strong governance and cross-functional leadership.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise strategy, transformation, PMO, governance, performance management, public-sector advisory or management consulting.
• Proven experience leading strategy formulation for C-suite or senior leadership.
• Strong track record translating strategy into governed initiatives and roadmaps.
• Experience leading portfolio governance, performance management, or process improvement programs.
• Experience in government or regulated sectors; GCC experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business/economics/engineering/public policy/management or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic strongly preferred.
• Qualified UAE Nationals encouraged to apply; exceptional candidates of all nationalities considered.

We are hiring a Director, Strategy, Transformation & Performance to work on a project with an Abu Dhabi government entity. In this role, you'll lead the entity's strategy, transformation and performance agenda: shaping and cascading enterprise strategy, steering delivery of strategic initiatives, overseeing how performance is measured and reported, and driving process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation, refresh and cascading of enterprise strategy, translating government and leadership priorities into clear objectives, plans and initiatives
• Advise senior leadership on strategic priorities, complex decisions and urgent requests
• Lead strategic studies, benchmarking, and policy or regulatory assessments
• Translate strategy into a focused portfolio of initiatives and roadmaps (including digital), and establish portfolio governance: decision rights, stage-gates, reporting and benefits tracking
• Lead delivery of strategic and cross-functional initiatives, resolving key dependencies, risks and escalations
• Direct the performance management framework (KPIs, targets, scorecard and reviews) and be accountable for performance reporting to government
• Present one integrated quarterly view of delivery and results to leadership
• Set the approach for process excellence and continuous improvement, and sponsor government excellence assessments
• Lead and develop the department, and build alignment with internal and government stakeholders

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise strategy, transformation, PMO, governance, performance management, public-sector advisory or management consulting
• Proven experience leading strategy formulation and advising C-suite or equivalent senior leadership
• Strong record of translating strategy into governed initiatives, implementation roadmaps and measurable outcomes
• Experience leading portfolio governance, performance management, process improvement or operational-excellence programmes
• Experience in government or semi-government, real estate, or another regulated sector is strongly preferred; GCC experience is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, public policy, management or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred
• Fluency in English required; Arabic strongly preferred
