Job summary

Russell Bedford (Dubai) Limited is a Dubai DIFC-licensed auditing and accounting practice seeking an Audit Associate to join its team in the DIFC. The role focuses on external and internal audits within the financial services sector, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality audit work on time.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of external audit experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and solid analytical, numeric, and communication skills. UAE-based applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CA/ACCA/CPA qualification is a plus but not required.
• 1–2 years external audit experience in mid-tier or Big 4.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good knowledge of Excel; familiarity with audit software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet client commitments on external and internal audit engagements.
• Execute audits and complete files within engagement timelines.
• Perform fieldwork, sampling, testing and data analysis.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify risks or gaps.
• Prepare detailed audit working papers and document findings.
• Support auditing standards and regulatory understanding.
• Participate in training and develop technical skills.
