Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance in Dubai to lead external audit engagements for financial services clients. You will supervise audit teams, manage client relationships, and ensure adherence to IFRS and ISA, while delivering high-quality service across Funds, Asset Management, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, and Brokerage.

The role requires 5–8 years of external audit experience with strong leadership and regulatory familiarity in the UAE market.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years external audit experience, including supervising audit teams.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Experience auditing financial services (Funds, Banking, Fintech, Insurance).
• ACCA/CA/CPA/ACA qualification preferred.
• UAE/GCC regulatory familiarity valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements for financial services clients.
• Supervise audit teams and provide guidance throughout audit assignments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Prepare audit documentation, review financial statements, and support the successful completion of audit projects.
• Work with clients across sectors including Funds, Asset Management, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, and Brokerage.
