Job summary

Russell Bedford International in DIFC Dubai is seeking an Audit Senior who is a fully qualified CA, ACCA or CPA to join our audits team.

You will meet client commitments on external and internal audits, plan engagements, coordinate delivery with the team, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, professional environment.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
• Currently based in the UAE with 4–5 years external audit experience in UAE.
• In-depth IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits and complete files within engagement timelines.
• Plan external and internal audits, including budgeting and staffing.
• Coordinate engagements from planning to completion with high quality.
• Develop client relationships and act as an extension of the client.
• Mentor junior staff and provide on-the-job training.

Audit Senior - Job description

We are looking for a fully qualified CA, ACCA or CPA to join our team in DIFC as an Audit Senior

• You will be expected to meet client commitments on external and internal audit engagements by executing the audit and completing audit files within the specified timeframe of the engagement
• You will be required to perform specific audit engagements to the high standard of quality expected of employees of the firm, whilst demonstrating the firm values of: working as a team, focusing on our clients and targets, being a leader, and behaving with pride and enthusiasm and success for and through our people
• You will be assisting with the planning of external and internal audits, including budgeting, staffing planning and participation in audit planning meetings
• You will be coordinating the audit engagement from planning to completion within the stipulated time frame and with the required expected level of quality
• You will be developing strong working relationships with the client and the client staff involved
• You will be delegating to junior team members, provide on the job training and provide feedback.

Requirements:

• CA/ACCA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification
• Must be currently based in the UAE and must have a minimum of 4-5 years of external audit experience gained with a mid-tier or one of the Big 4 audit firms in the UAE
• Must have in-depth knowledge of IFRS
• Preference will be given to candidates that are currently working in an audit firm
• The ability to build strong client knowledge and act as an extension to the client
• The ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with members of the team and other service lines across the firm
