Job summary

GCS Building Contracting LLC SOC is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Dubai. Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit DEWA drawings, load schedules and documentation for electrical approvals and new connections.
• Design and review electrical systems for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and DEWA engineers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of LV systems, MDBs, SMDBs, lighting and power distribution networks.
• Prepare technical submittals, material approvals and progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Support procurement by reviewing and approving technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Review electrical shop drawings, single‑line diagrams and as‑built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations, UAE codes and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other MEP disciplines.

Authority

• Supervise electrical supervisors, foremen and electricians.
• Recommend manpower and material requirements.
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines for smooth execution.
