Job summary

Apparel Group in Dubai seeks a creative fashion designer proficient in CAD to translate concepts into market-ready apparel. You will create or visualize designs using CAD, staying ahead of trends in fabrics, colours, and silhouettes for seasonal collections.

You will plan ranges, collaborate with buyers and forecasters to develop products that meet briefs, and liaise with buying and planning teams to ensure items align with customer needs, market dynamics and price points.

Responsibilities

• Creating or visualizing an idea and producing a design using CAD.
• Well versed in latest designing software (Illustrator, Photoshop etc.).
• Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes.
• Planning and developing ranges.
• Working with buyers and forecasters, to develop products to meet a brief.
• Liaising closely with buying and planning teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
• Understanding design from a technical perspective.
• Readiness to multitask and should have a proactive approach
