Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Design Lead (Secondary) in the UAE (Sharjah) to define, review and execute protection and automation for substation and power distribution projects. The role requires strong leadership to guide engineers and draughtspersons, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery of engineering drawings and documents.

Qualifications

Must have advanced knowledge in Protection & Automation System for Substations.
Experience in secondary engineering activities like Schemes, Wiring Diagrams, SCADA & Control Systems.
Knowledge of CT/VT sizing calculations and battery sizing.

Responsibilities

Define, review & execute Secondary Engineering activities for Substation/Power Distribution Projects.
Lead a team of Engineers and Draughtspersons to deliver within budget and schedule.
Coordinate with vendors for finalization of equipment and ensure client approvals.
Review vendor deliverables pertaining to Secondary Engineering.
Provide support to Site Execution team and clarify design requirements.
