Job Description

The Design and Estimation Engineer for Fire Fighting Systems is responsible for the end-to-end design and cost estimation of fire protection systems in compliance with relevant safety codes and standards This role ensures the delivery of technically sound economically viable and code-compliant solutions for various building and infrastructure projects

Key Responsibilities

• System Design Drafting Design and draft fire protection systems wet dry hydrants sprinklers CO foam per NFPA and local codes
• Create detailed layouts using AutoCAD ensuring integration with other services
• Assess site conditions and consult clients to meet project requirements

Estimation and Costing

• Estimate fire-fighting system costs perform quantity take-offs assess material needs and support procurement with supplier evaluation Deliver timely accurate cost reports with risk considerations

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical). Minimum 3 years of experience in the design and estimation of fire-fighting systems
• Experience working with fire protection codes (NFPA, BS, etc.) and local regulations
• Familiarity with fire safety systems such as sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire alarm systems, CO2 suppression systems, etc.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm system & fire-fighting system design & NFPA UAE FIRE CODE, and standards.
