Job summary

AL SHAHBA ENG.SAFETY and SECURITY CO. LLC in Dubai is seeking a Design and Estimation Engineer to develop cost estimates for fire alarm and firefighting systems and to support fit-out projects across warehouses and residential buildings.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of NFPA and UAE Civil Defense standards. Excellent communication and collaboration with Sales and PM teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience creating design and estimates for fire protection and firefighting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of fire protection codes and UAE Civil Defense standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare cost estimates for fire alarm and firefighting systems for fit-out projects such as warehouses and residential buildings.
• Prepare accurate estimates including material, labor and other costs.
• Perform site visits to identify requirements for quotations.
• Collaborate with Sales to provide technical guidance during client interactions.
• Collaborate with Project Management to identify challenges and propose solutions.

We are looking for a design and estimation engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare cost estimates for all fire alarm and firefighting systems such as Fire alarm system Clean Agent System Fire Pump Sprinkler systems etc for fit-out jobs projects such as warehouses residential buildings and more
• Prepare accurate cost estimates accounting for material labor and all other costs
• Perform site visits to identify requirements for preparing quotations
• Collaborate with Sales team to provide technical guidance during client interactions
• Collaborate with project management team to identify potential challenges and propose solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience creating design and estimates for fire protection and firefighting systems
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of fire protection codes, standards and regulations (NFPA, UAE Civil Defense etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
