Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Deck Operations Specialist to support daily operations aboard multicat and support vessels involved in dredging, reclamation, and marine construction. You will execute anchoring, mooring, towing, and barge handling in coordination with vessel command and operations teams.

Responsibilities include assisting in installation of floating pipelines, monitoring equipment, maintaining safe deck areas, and guiding junior crew while complying with HSE

Qualifications

• Technical School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in deck operations or similar roles.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work with diverse crew.

Responsibilities

• Work with personnel from different cultural backgrounds.
• Take ownership of objectives agreed by vessel management.
• Communicate clearly with watch officers and superiors on the bridge.
• Identify and mitigate risks within assigned works.
