Job summary

تابي is offering a Data Protection Intern position within the Enterprise Risk department in the UAE. The role supports the Privacy Office in aligning with UAE data protection laws and gaining hands-on experience with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

You will build RoPA, contribute to DPIAs, update policies, and track regulatory updates while collaborating with business teams to improve data maps and processing activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in Law, Information Security, Business or related field.
• Clear written English and strong attention to detail required.
• Familiarity with UAE PDPL and progress toward CIPP/E or CIPM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data inventory and RoPA with data categories, purposes, bases and retention.
• Assist with DPIAs and privacy reviews.
• Update data privacy policies and procedures to reflect changes.
• Track regulatory updates and data maps with business teams.
