Job summary

ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Senior Manager – Data Privacy Governance in Abu Dhabi to lead the privacy governance pillar, designing and implementing the bank's privacy framework, policies, SOPs, RoPA and DPIA programs.

You will ensure compliant processing of personal data under UAE PDPL, map requirements to controls, govern OneTrust and Archer tooling, and report KPIs to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years working in data protection, privacy governance or risk management.
• Experience in a banking/regulated environment in the UAE preferred.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical procedures.
• Strong stakeholder management at Senior Management level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the privacy governance framework, policies, SOPs and RoPA mappings.
• Oversee DPIA and data transfer assessments, with business submission sign-off.
• Govern RoPA program end-to-end across ADIB jurisdictions and OneTrust.
• Monitor privacy KPIs/KRIs and report to senior management and boards.
• Coordinate regulatory engagement, audits and incident management response.
