Job summary

Amazon Data Services Emirates LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join the Infrastructure Operations team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on reviewing data center inventory, inbound shipments, and ongoing demand to maintain stock levels for build and repair activities.

You will work on-site, coordinating with the Logistics Manager and technicians to ensure timely parts delivery and 24/7 operation readiness. High school diploma required, with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand all aspects of operations while adhering to strict safety standards and maintaining very high quality.
• Partner with the Logistics Manager to create plans that optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle - tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns.
• Work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts requests quickly and accurately.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts, and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements.
• Maintain regular, ongoing communication with vendors to resolve issues and align them on our business requirements.
• Support an environment that operates 24/7.
