Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team at a data center site in Abu Dhabi. You will review inventory, manage in-bound shipments, and ensure stock levels support build and repair activities.

You will partner with the Logistics Manager to optimize flow, work with Data Center Technicians and Engineers to fulfill requests quickly, and coordinate with Procurement to purchase parts and process RMAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics.
• 3+ years of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict safety standards in an on-site environment and operate powered equipment as needed.
• Plan and optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle with the Logistics Manager.
• Fulfill parts requests quickly and accurately in collaboration with Data Center Operations Technicians and Engineers.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase parts and process RMAs with vendors.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors to resolve issues and align on business requirements.
• Support a 24/7 operations environment.
