Job summary

Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group, is seeking a Customs Clearance specialist to ensure smooth air cargo clearance through customs, coordinating with authorities and internal teams to meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires 2-3 years in customs clearance, familiarity with customs brokerage or logistics firms, and strong documentation discipline. You will liaise with airlines, forwarders, and warehouses to ensure timely release and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs declarations for air shipments.

• Stay updated on changes in customs laws, regulations and tariffs.
• Assist in obtaining special permits or exemptions when needed.
• Identify potential clearance delays and propose solutions.
• Handle disputes related to valuation, duties, and classifications.
• Resolve customs holds or inspections quickly.
• Maintain logs of cleared shipments and proper filing of documents.
• Generate reports on clearance performance and compliance risks.
• Assist audits with necessary documentation and explanations.
