Job summary

Travelstart is expanding in the Middle East and seeks friendly, proactive professionals to join our Dubai-based team. You will handle sales and customer support tasks across channels, analyse needs, and offer suitable flights and packages while ensuring privacy and accuracy.

Fluent English and Arabic are essential for daily interactions with customers and colleagues. Ideal candidates have GDS experience, travel industry background, and a customer-centric approach, enabling effective multitasking

Qualifications

• Experience in the travel sector is required.
• Knowledge of GDS and related travel tech.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and/or customer service calls
• Respond to customer inquiries via all communication channels within set timeframes
• Resolve customer issues and manage inquiry queues
• Present additional products and services to customers based on needs analysis
• Maintain company and customer privacy
• Perform administrative tasks related to Travelstart products and operations
• Keep records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
• Book and clarify flight and package prices according to customer requests
• Process unsuccessful or canceled bookings
• Identify and explain flight prices and schedule changes

Requirements

• Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
• Experience in the travel sector
• E-commerce experience is preferred
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
