Job summary

Emirates Group, based in Dubai, seeks a Crew Scheduling Officer to support rostering and scheduling for Dubai and outstations. You will manage day-of-operation rosters, ensure crew availability and compliance with regulations, and drive recovery efforts during disruptions.

Qualifications

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in flight operations rostering and scheduling.
• Relevant experience in airline operations.
• Proven track record in crew scheduling and planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the crew scheduling team to ensure crewing information is available to support operational decisions and provide feedback on crewing solutions.
• Implement recovery solutions with the crew scheduling team during disruptions and maintain operational awareness with stakeholders.
• Manage roster amendments on the day of operation due to crew sickness or changes requested by management.
• Responsible for cabin crew complement and complex attributes on each flight, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance and accurate reports for outstations.
• Highlight operational abnormalities within the day of operation and ensure correct flight and crew availability on impacted flights.
• Proactively communicate operational changes to flight and cabin crew in a timely manner.
• Assign crew from standby ensuring alignment with GCAA legalities and company requirements.
• Responsible for flight crew training recovery outside office hours to minimize roster disruptions.
