Job Responsibilities
- Support the crew scheduling controllers in managing published flight and cabin crew rosters within the scope of day of operations for Dubai and outstations as well as ensuring the correct crew complement are available on each flight within defined time limitations and as per regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the crew scheduling team to ensure relevant crewing information is available to support operational decisions and provide feedback and recommendations on crewing solutions to ensure effective recovery of operations.
- Implement recovery solutions in collaboration with crew scheduling during operational disruptions and maintain operational awareness and crew communication with relevant stakeholders throughout the recovery process.
- Manage roster amendments on the day of operation as a result of crew sickness or other changes as requested by management.
- Be responsible for the cabin crew complement and complex attributes on each flight and ensure adherence to company policy and regulatory requirements; ensure accurate reports are shared with the relevant outstations for acceptance prior to departure.
- Highlight operational abnormalities within day of operation scope including but not limited to aircraft changes and ensure the correct flight and cabin crew complement are available on the impacted flights.
- Proactively communicate operational changes of assigned duties to flight and cabin crew in a timely manner.
- Assign crew from standby ensuring the crew assigned aligns with General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) legalities and company requirements.
- Be responsible for flight crew training recovery outside of office hours to minimize disruptions to published roster.
Qualifications
- Have completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification.
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in flight operations in rostering and scheduling.
- Have relevant experience in airline operations.
- Proven experience in track record in crew scheduling and planning.
