Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in the UAE seeks a credit risk specialist to screen customer financial records and support EOSB case proposals to sustain borrowing relationships.

You will collaborate with Credit, Collections, and Risk teams, assess financial standing after employment changes, and manage MIS tracking and confidential information in a fast-paced banking environment.

The role requires strong negotiation, customer communication, and a solid understanding of banking systems and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence decisions.
• Good knowledge of banking products, policies and systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in initial screening of financial records.
• Knowledge of banking systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary screening of customer financial records from a credit and risk perspective
• Prepare and submit management proposals for EOSB cases to maintain borrowing relationships
• Proactively work with Credit, Collections, and Risk departments to identify relationship potentials
• Assess customer financial standing following employment status changes
• Handle operational aspects of the Indemnities department, including batch handling and account earmarking
• Manage internal and external customer communications to enhance experience
• Maintain up-to-date MIS tracking and submit statistical reports
• Ensure accuracy of information and adherence to confidentiality
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Bank Code of Conduct
