Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Credit Controller.
• Experience handling strategic accounts.
• Transport and logistics experience would be beneficial.
• Work with Sales, Finance and Operations teams.
• High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Teamwork and flexibility are important.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales.
• Handle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring payment within the terms.
• Respond promptly to client/internal inquiries about invoicing, payments and SOA.
• Maintain records of payment follow-up activities.
• Regularly contact customers to ensure debts are managed.
• Reconcile account balances and prepare debtors ageing for monthly reporting.
• Follow DSV dunning procedures for defaulted accounts.
• Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
• Meet weekly and monthly KPIs.
