Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Dubai is hiring a Credit Controller to join our finance team. You will be responsible for collecting invoices, monitoring credit, and coordinating debt recovery with a focus on timely payments.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of credit control experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work with internal teams to resolve issues and minimise DSO in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as a Credit Controller.
• Experience handling strategic accounts is desirable.
• Transport and Logistics sector experience would be beneficial.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Follow up overdue invoices by phone, email, and letter within agreed timescales.
• Handle disputed invoices and negotiate payment terms.
• Respond promptly to client and internal inquiries about invoicing, payments, and SOA.
• Maintain records of all payment follow-up activities.
• Reconcile account balances and prepare debtors ageing monthly.
