Job summary

PPOAR in Ras-al-Khaimah is seeking an experienced Chef to join a professional kitchen. The role offers a monthly salary of 1,300 AED and requires real culinary expertise and knowledge of food safety.

You will prepare, cook and present dishes to restaurant standards, work long hours including weekends, and train junior staff. English communication is essential, and the position supports career growth within an international team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling practices
• Excellent culinary skills with a good understanding of different cuisines and ingredients
• Ability to work long hours, including shifts and weekends
• Good communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards
• Ensure that all dishes meet the quality standards set by the head Chef
• Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, correctly stored, and correctly prepared for each dish
• Create new recipes and develop menus as required by the head Chef
• Train junior staff according to company policies
