Job summary

PPOAR in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Chef to prepare and produce high-quality meals, while handling ordering, inventory control and occasional special dishes on request.

The ideal candidate will have a culinary arts degree or equivalent training, strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of food safety regulations. You must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays; competitive benefits are offered, with a salary of 1100 AED per month.

Qualifications

• A culinary arts degree or equivalent training/experience in food preparation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health code requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the kitchen such as ordering ingredients, preparing meals according to customer requests, managing stock levels and maintaining a clean working environment.
• Create new recipes and menus based on customer feedback.
• Train staff in basic kitchen operations.
• Ensure all meals are prepared efficiently and that they adhere to high standards of quality.
• Ensure that all safety regulations are being followed.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager.
