ASIA Prime General Contracting Co. L.L.C. in Dubai seeks an experienced Cost Control/Commercial Engineer to drive project budgeting and cost management on our construction programs.

You will prepare budgets from drawings, monitor costs, generate EV reports, review procurement, and identify cost-saving opportunities while working with project teams to mitigate overruns. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 6+ years in cost control, proficiency in AutoCAD, Planswift, and ERP tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years’ hands on experience as Cost Control/Commercial Engineer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in cost control software, financial management tools and ERP systems, preferably ePROMIS and CCS Candy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.

Responsabilités

• Prepare project budget by taking off quantities from drawings using AutoCAD and Planswift.
• Analyze and track project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare detailed cost reports using earned value method, financial summaries, and variance analyses and cost to complete analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review and approve procurement plans, invoices, and payment schedules.
• Monitoring and controlling projects’ stores/ stock, projects’ resources, and wastage of material.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate cost overruns.
