Job summary

Azizi Industries is seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer to monitor project costs, prepare budgets, and analyze variances across Fit-Out, GRC, and related manufacturing sectors in the UAE. You will work with Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to ensure tight cost control throughout project execution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least five years of cost control experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant cost control experience in construction, manufacturing or engineering industries.
• Experience in Fit-Out, GRC Manufacturing, UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets and cost control systems.
• Monitor actual project expenditure against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
• Prepare periodic cost reports, forecasts, and budget performance reports.
• Analyse project costs, material consumption, labour costs, equipment expenses, and overheads.
• Monitor project commitments, purchase orders, subcontractor costs, and supplier payments.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to control project expenditure.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, Production, and Engineering teams.
• Monitor BOQs, project quantities, material requirements, and resource utilisation.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and monthly cost reports.
• Identify potential cost overruns and provide recommendations to management.
• Maintain accurate cost records and ensure compliance with approved budgets and procedures.
