Job summary

We are Buchanan, a US law firm, seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Dubai team. England & Wales or US qualified lawyers with 3–5 years PQE in M&A, general corporate and commercial work are invited to apply.

You will support corporate transactions and commercial advisory work, draft, review and negotiate agreements, assist due diligence, and co-ordinate matters through to completion while delivering clear, practical advice for clients.

• Qualification in England and Wales or the US.
• Experience in M&A, general corporate and commercial work.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

An elite US law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Dubai team. The firm is looking for an England and Wales or US qualified lawyer with experience in M&A, general corporate and commercial matters.

The role

You will support the team across corporate transactions and commercial advisory work, combining M&A experience with a broader understanding of clients’ corporate and contractual requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on mergers and acquisitions and related corporate matters.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements.
• Supporting transaction due diligence and coordinating matters through to completion.
• Providing general corporate and commercial advice.
• Working closely with partners, colleagues and clients to manage deadlines and deliver clear, practical advice.

About you

The firm is looking for a lawyer with:

• 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Qualification in England and Wales or the US.
• Experience in M&A, general corporate and commercial work.
• Strong technical, drafting and negotiation skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team.

Regional experience is preferred.

Remuneration and recruitment

The salary range is £175k–£235k per annum, depending on experience.
