Job summary

Caliberly is seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead non-ferrous metals manufacturing operations in the UAE. You will drive operational excellence, cost control, and growth across production, procurement, supply chain, quality, engineering and maintenance.

The role requires deep knowledge of aluminium, copper, zinc, lead alloys, with a proven track record in large-scale metals manufacturing, plus strong leadership, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 15–20+ years in metals manufacturing leadership.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and TPM.
• Strong commercial and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with targets and growth.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing, procurement, quality, and maintenance.
• Establish SOPs and performance management frameworks.
• Identify capacity expansion and efficiency improvements.
• Provide regular updates to CEO and board.
• Lead safety and environmental compliance programs.
• Build high-performing teams and manage organizational change.
