Applicants must hold a Bachelor 's Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics or an equivalent professional qualification. A minimum of six years of instrument and control engineering and maintenance experience is required within a large industrial organization, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Candidates should understand control-system reliability, maintenance scheduling and multidisciplinary plant interfaces. The role requires sound fault-finding ability, practical resource planning and the confidence to supervise contractors and technical personnel. Relevant professional certification should be held where applicable. The position involves minimal physical effort in a mainly air-conditioned environment, with occasional exposure to site heat, humidity and dust.
