Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Contractor Resource Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the steel sector to oversee contractor administration and documentation. The role requires ensuring safety and compliance across access, manpower tracking, and site coordination.

You will coordinate with security, HSE, and operations to manage permits, training, and performance, especially during plant shutdowns and major projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years' experience in steel industry focusing on contractor resource management.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Contractor Administration: manage day-to-day administrative activities related to contractors within the steel plant.
• Contractor Documentation: verify and maintain contractor documentation and records.
• Access & Site Coordination: coordinate contractor access, safety induction, site authorization, and records.
• Attendance & Manpower Tracking: monitor attendance and deployment, reconcile with site manpower, and prepare reports.
• Work Permit & Operational Coordination: coordinate work permits and site requirements with Operations, Maintenance and HSE.
• Contractor Compliance: ensure compliance with policies, safety requirements, licenses, and certifications.
• Shutdown / Maintenance Support: assist contractor admin during plant shutdowns and major projects.
• Contractor Performance & Reporting: maintain performance records and escalate non-compliance.
