Job summary

Globant is seeking an experienced UX Writer Content Designer with deep retail banking expertise in the UAE to shape end-to-end digital experiences across mobile and online banking platforms.

You will own the language of everyday banking moments—from onboarding to payments, loans and customer support—working within cross-functional squads to craft clear, compliant, and intuitive microcopy that drives product adoption and reduces friction.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in UX writing, content design or product content strategy.
• 3 years of experience in financial services retail banking in the UAE/GCC market.
• Deep understanding of regional retail banking products (CASA, Cards, Loans, Payments, Remittances) and Islamic banking equivalents.
• Solid understanding of UAE regulatory landscape including UAE PASS, Emirates ID onboarding flows and Central Bank guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with Figma, Jira and Confluence; strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX writing with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• User Journey & Product Microcopy across banking journeys.
• Write and refine UI copy for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, loans, and remittances.
• Craft CTAs, labels, guidance, and notifications to drive conversions and reduce friction.
• Translate complex banking jargon into clear, transparent language.
• Develop and maintain voice, tone guidelines and bilingual glossaries within the design system.
• Collaborate with Arabic localization teams to match English/Arabic tone and RTL quality.

In this role you will own the language of everyday banking moments from account opening and card management to instant payments, personal loans and customer support. Embedded directly in cross-functional agile product squads you will work alongside UX UI designers, product managers, developers and compliance partners to craft clear, compliant and intuitive microcopy that drives product adoption and reduces customer friction.

Key Responsibilities

• User Journey amp Product Microcopy
• Write and refine UI copy across core retail banking journeys eKYC amp onboarding CASA accounts credit debit cards payments amp remittances loans and Islamic banking products
• Friction-Free Interaction Design
• Craft high-converting CTAs labels form guidance empty states error messages transactional notifications and contextual in-app guidance
• Plain Language Disclosures
• Translate complex banking jargon interest profit rates fees eligibility rules and regulatory requirements into simple transparent language
• Content Systems amp Governance
• Develop and maintain the bank s voice and tone guidelines content design patterns and bilingual banking glossaries within our design system
• Bilingual amp Localization Parity
• Partner closely with Arabic localization teams to ensure English and Arabic experiences match seamlessly in tone intent and Right-to-Left RTL visual quality
• Agile Squad Collaboration
• Work day-to-day in Figma Jira and Confluence collaborate with Compliance Legal Risk and Shariah teams to secure efficient sign-offs without compromising user experience
• Data-Informed Iteration
• Use analytics usability testing and customer feedback loops to identify content drop-off points and continuously optimize user completion rates

What We Are Looking For

• 5 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or product content strategy
• 3 years of experience in financial services Retail Banking in the UAE GCC market strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of regional retail banking products CASA Cards Lending Payments Remittances and Islamic banking equivalents
• Solid understanding of the UAE regulatory landscape including UAE PASS Emirates ID onboarding flows and Central Bank consumer protection guidelines
• Hands‑on experience working directly inside Figma and collaborating in Jira Confluence
• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX writing process before after copy iterations user journey flows and measurable outcomes
• Excellent written and spoken English with exceptional attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Spoken or written Arabic proficiency or proven experience shipping bilingual English Arabic digital products
• Experience in conversational design chatbots or AI-powered virtual assistant workflows
• Experience building or scaling content design systems within an enterprise setting
