The consultant will also oversee pregnancy care, manage high-risk obstetric cases, perform cesarean deliveries, and coordinate treatment with multidisciplinary specialists to support safe maternal, reproductive, and surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level assessment and treatment across obstetrics and gynecology.
• Manage routine pregnancies from antenatal assessment through delivery and postnatal follow-up.
• Provide specialized management for high-risk pregnancies requiring closer maternal and fetal surveillance.
• Perform advanced laparoscopic procedures for appropriate gynecological conditions.
• Use minimally invasive surgical techniques to manage complex pelvic and reproductive disorders.
• Evaluate and treat uterine fibroids according to symptoms, fertility considerations, and individual clinical needs.
• Diagnose and surgically manage endometriosis, including advanced laparoscopic cases.
• Assess ovarian cysts and adnexal pathology and determine appropriate medical or operative treatment.
• Investigate gynecological conditions that may contribute to infertility and coordinate further fertility management when required.
• Perform cesarean sections and provide perioperative obstetric management.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies requiring urgent medical or surgical intervention.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and determine the safest surgical approach.
• Develop individualized surgical plans according to diagnosis, imaging findings, reproductive goals, and patient preference.
• Monitor postoperative recovery and provide timely management of surgical complications.
• Review ultrasound examinations, laboratory results, radiological imaging, and pathology findings.
• Provide detailed counseling regarding treatment alternatives, fertility implications, operative risks, recovery expectations, and long‑time outcomes.
• Coordinate complex cases with anesthesiologists, neonatologists, radiologists, fertility specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare teams.

Ideal Profile

• Medical Degree with recognized specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Fellowship, Board Certification, or equivalent qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
