Job summary

Allocation Assist in Dubai seeks a qualified Female Consultant Gastroenterologist to diagnose and treat a wide range of GI, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders while delivering patient-centered care in line with international medical standards.

Responsibilities include endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy), developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. DHA compliance and excellence in communication are essential.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by DHA.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA License or Eligibility Letter as Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• 5–7 years of post-specialization experience in a reputed hospital or healthcare facility.
• Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education programs.
• Supervise junior medical staff when required.

• Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage.

• Experience in managing IBS, IBD, GERD, liver diseases, and hepatology cases.
