Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree is required.
• MD/DNB in General Medicine or an equivalent qualification, followed by DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Gastroenterology, is required.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level is expected.
• Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures is essential.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and patient communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the GI tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
• Treat GERD, peptic ulcers, IBD, liver disorders and GI bleeding.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy).
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage complex gastroenterology cases and provide long-term follow-up care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients on treatment options, dietary modifications, and preventive care.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement.

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing digestive system disorders, providing advanced gastroenterology care and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system
• Treat conditions such as GERD, peptic ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disorders, and gastrointestinal bleeding
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage complex gastroenterology cases and provide long-term follow-up care
• Interpret relevant diagnostic investigations and endoscopic findings
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists
• Counsel patients on treatment options, dietary modifications, and preventive care
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives
